With a full-displacement steel hull and raised foredeck profile, Paraffin is a traditional looking Feadship with modern styling elements. The most unusual exterior design feature is the upper deck gym, with a small observation 'bubble' above. Other aspects reflect a mix of aesthetic and practical. The satcom and satellite TV antenna are recessed as far as possible in to the wheelhouse superstructure, a solution that is both pleasing to the eye and beneficial for reception.
